Per-piece cost = blank + (roll cost ÷ roll length × inches used) + other materials + (minutes ÷ 60 × hourly rate) + overhead. Margin is profit as a share of price (price = cost ÷ (1 − margin)) — the convention retail uses. Markup is profit as a share of cost (price = cost × (1 + markup)). The same 40% gives different prices — margin is usually the number you actually want. Presets store material lines (blank, roll, other) not labor, since labor varies by design. Presets persist in this browser only (localStorage).
